PROJECT 1 (INDIVIDUAL)
Geometry and Form: Architectural Design Elements & Principles
The first assignment is to produce 4 models based on primary elements and one of the 6 ordering principles. In a workshop-based exploratory studio, this design project provides fundamental knowledge of design elements and principles, processes and approaches for ideation, design development, and translation into form. Through weekly exploration of design elements and concepts and application to your models and tattoo stamps, the project enables you to exercise your critical and creative skills.

OBJECTIVES
-
Study various methods of developing ideas through design stages involving workshop-based learning, idea translation, design translation, and interpretation.
-
Utilize different ways to represent design concepts with communication and architecture.
-
Enhance the capabilities of creating three-dimensional designs that can be converted into diagrams.

REPETITION
PART 1
Select one ordering principle to apply from the list below,
I have marked the ordering principle that I chose using a red circle:
PART 2
Using the chosen ordering principle, form and volume will be explored through the Primary Elements (a model for each element with the same ordering principle):
SKETCHES
PART 3
In one (1) more following model, you will use a combination of two (2) or three (3) of the Part 2's primary elements to reflect your selected ordering principle.
PART 4
You must create four (4) tattoo stamps of your Part 3 model by drawing, rendering, and shading them. The following must be used as a base and source for the tattoo stamps drawn in scale 1:1:

OUTCOME
MOCK-UP MODELS
My lecturer gave feedbacks on each of my models for me to make improvements and changed some of my model structures.

SLIDES PRESENTATION
SCRIPT
This project guided me to the basic elements and ordering principles knowledges in which I have applied into 4 of my models. I have acquired the abilities necessary for design thinking, and I know I will utilize them in the future. How to differentiate my work from others' work by adding value and high standards because everything has a purpose for being present.
MODULE ASSESSMENTS
REFLECTION
With the help of this project, I was able to go in depth in understanding the planes and volumes, solving my model challenges. Since I had to pay attention to every last detail, it was challenging to correct my mock-up models. However, my lecturer helped me by offering suggestions for how to make my mock-up and final models better.
LECTURE
I got reflect to my mistakes and made improvements in order to get the perfect models. I took notes about every little details that I could improvise and made sure my lecturer's feedbacks in my notes. Showing progress every week is important in order to be sure that I am on the right track. I talked to my lecturer regarding tattoo stamps since it was my first time doing models' tattoo stamps.
