FINAL PROJECT (INDIVIDUAL)

Presentation Board and Model Making Process

Architectural presentation boards can be used to display your work. They serve as a tool to engage viewers in the methodologies and process while also giving a broad overview and project vision. In essence, it serves as a medium for both communicating the design and demonstrating artistic talent and design sense.

An effective tool for communicating a building design or master plan is the architectural model. The model, which can be utilised at all design stages, depicts architectural concepts. An architectural model demonstrates the design's size and actual presence. The model is a three-dimensional representation of the design that is typically scaled far smaller than full size.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Introduce and develop 3D modelling for projects involving architectural design.

  2. Improve one's ability to communicate architectural ideas, spaces, and forms.

PROJECT BRIEF

TASKS

Create a presentation board and a 3D model to coordinate with the design studio work I produced for the evaluation.

  1. Submit 3 A1 presentation board(s).

  2. 1 (MINIMUM) image of holding the presentation board.

  3. 4 (MINIMUM) image of model (different angles).

  4. Integration with BlippAr to compile all the design process (OPTIONAL).

  5. Self-reflection in the e-portfolio webpage (maximum 1000 words).

I am grateful to my lecturer for feeling free to criticise my work and for being capable of helping me better my work in this assignment. I am prepared to receive any comments from my lecturer in tutorial and incorporate them into my work.

I was able to go into great detail in learning the information that I needed to put in the boards, which assisted me in resolving my board concerns. It was challenging to construct my boards because I had crucial elements to include, such as my actions and sensorial journey, but my lecturer helped me by offering suggestions for how to make my boards seem great.

My lecturer and I communicate well, which makes me feel comfortable sharing my thoughts and receiving critical feedback. Because building models using the proper scale is so important, he made a special effort to ensure I understood every step. He gave me some positive feedback on my structural arrangements and made sure I used the right anthropometry and ergonomics in light of my sensory experiences.
