RE-IMAGINING PUBLIC SPACE “Post-Covid Public Space Intervention”
In a group of 4 members, create 2A landscape boards of public space case study and public space intervention of Taylor's Lakeside Campus.

PART A: CASE STUDY: CHECKBOARD PARK, ELBLAG, POLAND
RESEARCH
Every groups have to select one public space nationally and internationally that has been involved in pandemic conditions. Explore the case studies and look over the public spaces intervention to acknowledge more regarding the tangible and intangible components and give evaluation as for the space arrangements.
Me and my group members have to carry out the case studies and explores the intervention of public space to recognize further through tangible and intangible elements and features in details. We choose Galeria El Art Centre because it has the social distancing lawn which is the perfect intervention in pandemic. Plus, we observe the contextual study of the place such as zoning, circulation and so on. We have to give our opinions and what we feel about the space.

I was assigned to do the zoning part and my leader told me to remove the gallery part since he talked about the gallery in the previous contextual study.

Our lecturer have criticized our progress in details and parts that we have to change. This is an important session since it helps us to keep on improving to do the best.
OUTCOME
Changing the "Intervention" to "Adaptation" and replacing our evaluations just how our lecturer mentioned before.
PART B: PUBLIC SPACE INTERVENTION: TAYLOR'S LAKESIDE CAMPUS
RESEARCH
We have to instigate ideas on intervening our public space in campus that could be related with Covid-19 pandemic conditions.

The end result should be in infographic, diagram-descriptions manner to talk through the approaches, ideas, based on your understanding on built environment.

Acknowledges the Covid-19 pandemic and the SOPs (standard operating procedure) at the public space.

Next, selects the space in the Taylor's Lakeside Campus and initiates the design of public space based on the purposes alone. The idea should be in conceptual or theme configuration and states the name of it.
We choose the castaway walkway in Taylor's Lakeside Campus and creates a Pacman concept which could be related with the walkway.
SKETCH
My group planned to do a library at the walkway and I have to design it based on the Pacman concept. The whole body part of the library will be the ghost and there is bench for students to sit while reading the book or doing a study group with friends.

My lecturer said that the boundaries should be thicker because she could not see it on the first progress.

Our lecturer said that it is an interesting and we have to make improvements after she criticizes the progression part. We have to do a development from the comments to complete the part B.
I tried to do a Sketchup version of the library but I realized that it does not show the perfect angle and does not show the best of our library so me and my group have decided not to include this in the board.
OUTCOME
FINAL WORK
Our leader give a full time to check if there is anything wrong and he helped us to fix some of the part really well. We make sure that everything is consistent and there is no lacking.

REFLECTION
From this assignment, I got to understand professional practice within the field of study because before this, I did not get the idea of doing case studies but gladly this assignment helps me understand better about the case studies and intervention.
Able to enrich this TGC because me and my group follow our leader's instructions attentively. The leader did an excellent job in dividing task and make improvements so we as the group members should help him and work together so that there will be no misunderstanding between the group members and complete this task perfectly.
This assignment helps me to acknowledge most of the basic knowledge regarding the case studies and intervention. I have got to locate, extract, synthesize and utilize information effectively because this assignment guides me to right way of doing a research for the case studies and problem thinking skills in the intervention.
